I offer pharmacogenetic testing through GeneSight testing to help guide more personalized medication decisions. This simple cheek swab analyzes how your body may process and respond to certain psychiatric medications based on your genetic makeup.
GeneSight testing can be especially helpful if you’ve had difficulty finding the right medication, experienced unwanted side effects, or feel like past treatments haven’t worked as expected. The results provide insights that can support more informed, targeted treatment planning, which helps reduce some of the guesswork when selecting medications.
Testing is quick, non-invasive, and can be done in-office or from home. Once results are available, we’ll review them together and discuss how they may fit into your overall care plan.

In addition to medication management, I offer brief, supportive psychotherapy during appointments when appropriate. These focused conversations help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns while building practical coping strategies.
This is not long-term weekly therapy, but it can be an important part of a comprehensive and integrated treatment plan.
